After my fatal hard drive crash I was mainly using SimplyMEPIS, which is a Linux; open sourced, 'boot and go', to manage paper work and keep myself abreast to current affairs. Being that I was unable to install any applications due to a lack in hard drive space I began using the, what I'll call, alternatives. These alternatives ranged from; Open Office, Mozilla, Gaim, Kontact, Konquer, and the many of the other typical packages one would find any any modern Linux distribution. |
