Building a Pocket Sized Moleskine GTD System

Detail shot of the cylindric tip of a common g...
In this brief blog entry you may reference how and why to use a standard ruled pocket size Moleskine notebook in an attempt to create a useful Getting Things Done (GTD) system. While the how will follow this paragraph, the why is equally important. Because the old mantra "mind like water" is an insightful one, the practice is often more difficult then needed. Even if you actively practice the collection of thoughts, ideas, and actions the use of a system maybe be invaluable.

Moleskine meets G2 Pro

Are you looking for a smooth writing instrument for personal and business usage? Me too—or I should say, I was. And for the first time on Czarism I announce that I am in love with my Moleskine notebook and the shiny new Pilot G2 Pro ink pen. [See image -->] Why so much fuss about a pen? The G2 is a sleek looking pen, the pro includes a stylish design with metal accents, smooth writing, contoured rubber grip, retractable, refillable, acid free, and it comes in my favorite color—RED. Combine the G2 Gel ink (that's water resistant and smear-proof) with the almost silky paper found in your Moleskine and you will find yourself writing without even noticing it.

A little history...

My first and only Moleskine notebook was purchased on June 28th 2005. After trying countless other notebooks this notebook was recommenced to me and I'll never look back. A year later I'm starting to find it fixed to my right hand, day in and day out.
